Often nicknamed the “ceramic bezel Sub,” it is the first of its line to sport Rolex’s new ceramic bezel. Made of scratch and fade-resistant Cerachrom, the ceramic bezel is unidirectional rotatable and 60-minute graduated. The watch’s 40 mm 904L stainless steel case features a screw-down case back and winding crown. A black dial with Chromalight time markers reflects the classic look of the Submariner model.
